ON-LINE LEARNING
Our extensive online learning is based on the Moodle platform as used by most universities.
Most learning is video based and is followed by projects.
Practical projects:
These are axplained in detail on the videos and you can review them as much as you need.
These practical projects have to be completed and photos or scans need to be taken and uploaded to the system for marking before being able to commence to the next session.
Theoretical work:
These projects are completed via questionairs which the system will evaluate by itself.
The student has up to 18months to complete the 10 month course.
What is this course about

- Pattern Engineering
- Footwear Technology
All tools and equipment and stationery for the course is provided.
The course duration should be 10months but students have up to 18 months to complete it.
Students work at their own pace whenever they want.
Projects are marked from Mondays to Fridays. No feeedback will be received over weekends.
Part time course times
You can start the online course at any time. Just take into consideraion that the tutors are on leave during the December period.

In the parcel that will be couriered, you will receive the following items:
- Special pencil
- Fineliner pens
- Erasor
- Engineer Divider
- Awl
- Tailors tape
- Masking tape
- Pattern paper
- A3 Envelopes
- A sandal last
- A shoe last
- Self healing cutting
- NT cutter
What you need to provide
You do not need to provide:
- A4 Printing paper for your sketches
If you run out of ink, pencil leads or paper you will need to replenish it yourself. The items should however be enough for the whole course.

Registration Deposit
Within the Republic of SA
ZAR 2500-00
This includes courier costs to major centres. Outlying centres will attract an additional charge of approximately R150
Monthly Installments
The deposit will be followed by 12 x consecutive monthly installments of ZAR 1000 per month.
Outside the Republic of South Africa
US$ 100
plus any courier charges.
